Newmarket, Ontario - The PC Party Prosperity Canada Programme focuses on building for the future. In retrospect over this last week while there will be update reports from the Government to the Opposition nothing of continuing collective interest to Canadians as a nation will be reported.

Rather than offering support with chartered bank borrowed funds for construction of the Mackenzie Valley Pipeline as was offered last month the Progressive Canadian position is that it be constructed as was the St. Lawrence Seaway through monies from the Bank of Canada.

Revenue from utilization of the pipeline would over time repay the government for the investment and more.

Reporting ongoing construction activities would be a continuing positive to Canadians concerning our future.

This construction as well strengthens Canada's claim to energy resources in the Arctic in that the capability of delivering them to markets would be a reality.

The St. Lawrence Seaway was a Government of Canada Project of a generation ago. Let the Mackenzie Valley Pipeline to the Arctic be that of to-day.
